V. Army to Writ Orders for Offensive
Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, May 10. In a farewell broadcast to the V army Colonel Britton said: “I have been speaking weekly for nearly a year. I will not speak again until the moment comes to indicate the particular line of action which is needed, but I cannot tell you what that line will be. Until the moment comes I will be working with colleagues on plans. At the moment I do not wish to aay more about the plans for the V army's offensive.”
