These funds are required for tho support of Miss A. M. Monecrieff, a New Zealander on loan to the Y.W.C.A. of China, while extra funds have also been promised this year for the training of Chinese secretaries. In her message to the world president, Miss Ruth Rouso says: “It is as a company of learners we enter our weok of prayer and fellowship. God is teaching through liistorj’, through experience, through His word; He teaches us also through each other.” More than ever is the importance of. this remembrance emphasised this year when so many members of the association are cut off from one another, as, with their countries, they have had to go behind the curtain of silence.
