Voluntary Aides Wanted for Air Stations

Mr. J. K. Paton, secretary of the Manawatu Centre of tho New Zealand Red Cross Society has received prelim inary notification that certain voluntary aid personnel will be required for Weraroa (six aides) and Ohakea Station (10 aides). Appointees are required to have elementary certificates in home nursing, first aid, also hygiene and sanitation, to have taken to the satisfaction of the

matron of the hospital her GO-hour training in hospital, and the centre must be satisfied that the practical work, character and bearing of the voluntary aid are desirable. Remuneration is at the same rate of*pay as members of the W.A.A.F., which will be the same uniform the aides will wear.
