Feilding Golf Club
Excellent scores were returned in the Feilding Golf Club’s bogey competition last week-end, the winner of the senior division, P. Whiteman, coming home 3-up closely followed by V. J. Stitchbury with 2-up. D. Julian finished 1-up and W. L. Pcnhey was all square. Junior honours were shared by E. Ewart, H. H. Giesen and B. Desmond, all one down. The finals for five champion competitions will be decided this -week-end, the contests and players being as follows: Senior, L. M. Giesen v. C. B. Thonms; Intermediate, W. T. Bray v. D. J. Hay; Junior, E. Ewart v. H. H. Giesen; Hegarty Cup, V. J. Stichbury v. L. Gor-
ton; Gonville-Saunders Cup, E. C. Vowell v. ,B. Desmond. In finding the finalists, some further interesting games have been played. C. B. Thomas defeated R. H. Farquharson in the Senior Championship, whilst in tho Hegarty Cup Y. J. Stichbury and D. B. Beattie had a battle royal, the game going to the 23rd green.
