APPEALS HEARD Appeak against Territorial service were Heard at a meeting ox the No. GA Manpower Committee on Wednesday, Mr. T. L. Seddon presiding. Associated with him were Messrs J. C. Young and W. McCulloch (Mr. xtutheriurd) against being called to camp for the duration of the war; Mr. McCulloch stated he was milking 72 cows, and carting milk to the factory twice a day; reservist was transferred to the Territorial Forces and to do his training during June, July and August, 1942. R. H. Ayres, dairy farm hand, appeal Dy E. Graham (Taxkorea); appeal against duration service allowed and reservist transferred to Territorial service for training in June, July and August. J. G. Wright, butter-maker's assistant, the apeai oy the Awahuri Dairy Company being taken up by Glaxo Laboratories, where he is now employed; not to De called up before the end of February. O. Larsen, farm manager, of Glen Oroiia, appeal against duration service (by J. P. Earsen, represented by Mr. L. Laurenson; appeal allowed and reservist transferred to Territorial Forces, and to make arrangements for his replacement in the off season to allow him to undertake Territorial training. C. O. Clinton, clerk employed oy the Scientific anu industrial Research Department, appeal through the Director of National bervice, against Territorial cadre service; reserved. R. K. Adcock, clerk, appeal Dy Co-operative Wholesale boeiety, Ltd.; not to be called up Defore the end of May.
