Feilding Saleyards Improvements
FURTHER WORK PUT IN HAND In addition to the safety rails erected on the walks over the cattle pens at the Feilding saleyards further improvement work has been put in hand this week. The old cattle ring wherein beef cattle were offered has been dismantled leaving only the auctioneer’s shelter remaining and it is possible that this also will be later removed to conform with plans for generally improving the cattle yards.
j The matter of dealing with the drainlage from the yards is also being tackled land engineers have been engaged to 'this end. Meanwhile considerable .work is being undertaken and it is con'.sidered that the improvements now in hand will go far towards improving the existing facilities for the public ia the Rattle yards.
