THREE PEOPLE INJURED

Car Leaves Road and Strikes Ditch

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 5. Shortly before 11 o’clock this morning, a car left the road on the northern side of the Porirua overhead bridge and struck a ditch, badly injuding two adults and a child. They are:

Mr C. G. Hook, a baker, of Paraparaumu, fractured left leg, fractured jaw, and wounds on the right arm and chin.

Mrs M. S. Arthur, Mr Hook’s mother-in-law, of the same address, fractured left arm and left leg, internal injuries, severe scalp wound, severe wound in the right leg, and shock. Lily Hook, aged two years, head injuries. They were brought to the Wellington HosDital by the free ambulance.
