Death of Ex-Premier Of New South Wales
SYDNEY PAYS IMPRESSIVE HOMAGE Received Tuesday, 11.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 3. The Legislative Assembly to-day observed a minute’s silence and then adjourned out of respect to a former Premier, the late Sir Thomas Bavin, who was given a State funeral which left St. Andrew’s Cathedral and pro--1 ceeded through the city headed by , mounted police and the police band. All branches of official, political and business life and the judiciary were represented. The funeral was one of the most impressive seen in this city.
