(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mesdames J. Whitehead, M. Entwisle and G. Stewart are holidaying in Napier. I Nancy Lames, F. and T. Richardson, Mervyn Old and George Vosailagi are secondary school pupils home for the ! school holidays. I Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Dallison and their small daughter, Gail, are* staying in Waverley with Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Dallison during the school vacation. Miss Rene Veunell is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. C. Eames. Mrs. N. H. Short and family are spending a holiday in Waituna. It was decided at the Monday night parade that all local Guardsmen should attend St. Mary’s Church service next Sunday afternoon. The following is the draw for the stableford bogey to be played next Saturday:—J. Wither and R. Hitchman, D. Old and I). Dallison, B. Stewart and R. French, M. McLean and J. Stewart, I. McLean and A. Smith, D. Blue and E. Woollams, J. Old and C. Corpe. The ladies will play a flag competition and the following is the draw:—Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. McCombie, Mrs. Corpe and Mrs. Wither, Miss Williamson and Mrs. Dallison, Mrs. Blue and Mrs. Short, Miss Old and Miss Coggin, Miss J. Stewart and Mrs. Old, Miss R. Stewart and Mrs. Stewart.
