Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 13. The Prime Minister, Hon. P. Fraser* is expected to return to New Zealand by the lirst week in September. Alter a tour of Bcotiand Air. Fraser is at present in Loudon. Mr. Fraser, in a message to th# Acting-Prime Alinister, Air. NY. Nash, referred particularly to the favourable response Uy the people of Great Britain to descriptions of New Zealand’s war effort and the part played by the Dominion’s troops in Greece and Crete. Mr. praser had been asked by the Alinistry of Information to make a trip through some of the devastated areas of England and also parts of Bcotland. In Parliamentary circles it is considered certain that the House of Representatives will still be in session when the Prime Alinister returns, there being a good deal of business on tk# order paper, with more coming. Mr. Nash has intimated that any announcement about a general election or other developments in the political situation will be made from the floor of the House. It is expected that when something definite is said the statement will be made by the Prime Minister after consultation with Air. Nash and the Labour Party caucus.
