Children’s Mission Concludes Concluding a remarkable exx>erience for many hundreds of children and grown-ups, too, the Children’s Mission at All {Saints’ Church terminated with a service on Sunday morning. Morning prayers have been held at 8.20 a.m. and the main service a't 4 p.m. each day. The children have followed almost breathlessly the adventures of a certain Christian named Bill, who in his Christian pilgrimage met with many stirring adventures and iu spite of setbacks fought a good light to a victorious finish. Each day the children received their instructions to be pasted into a delightful booklet, the cover of which was designed by Miss Meg Sliex>pard. Deaconess lleni Park, who conducted the mission, left yesterday for Hawke’s Bay, and is returning later in the week to conduct a similar mission for the children of St. Peter’s, Pahiatua. The mission made a deexi imxiression on the children and also on many of the parents, aud all who have attended have been much strengthened in Christian faith and practice. The weekly dance for members of the Fighting Forces and held at the National Club wss largely attended and provided much enjoyment. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss A. Seifert and L.A.C. H. Swales. The hostese were Mesdames L. Bale, D. Black, H. Seifert, C. Hayward, J. H. Whyte and Miss Murray. Messrs Cubitt, Rawcliffe and Driver. Music was provided by Misses B. Algie and P. King.
