(From Our Own Correspondent.) The Patriotic Shop on Thursday made a profit of £3 Is Id. Donations received from the following:—Mesdames Peck, Dalgety, Middleton, Muldrock, Drummond, W. Currie, Bleakley, Bockett, Flowers, J. Brown, Schnell, A. Blixt, Anion, Cook, Whitehead, W. Smith, Sixtus, Templeton, McDoncil, Tieehurst, A. P. Brown, P. Kerigan, Farnell, Cheshire, Alexander, W. Brewer, Miss McDonald, Messrs. C. Williamson, Youle, Thornley, J. Stewart. At the monthly meeting of Court Pohangina A.O.F. there was a good attendance of members. C.R. Bro. H. Byers presided. The Woodwards reported that there are no sick members upon the funds. The medical situation was discussed at length, members freely expressing their views, and it was finally decided to carry on as usual in the meantime. R.S.A. Reunion On Saturday evening there was a large attendance for the K.S.A. reunion function. The local president, Mr. M. J. Murphy, was in liio chair. The evening proved successful and all enjoyed themselves. The toast test was as follows:—“Absent Comrades,” proposed by Rev. Farnell; “The N.Z. Returned Soldiers’ Association,” proposed by Mr. E. Henneghan and replied to by Mr. Nicholson; “Members of 2nd N.Z.E.F.,” proposed by Mr. R. Scott; “Kindred Associations and Visitors,” i proposed by Mr. McKinley, replied to by Messrs. McKenzie (Apiti), Groves (Pahiatua), Wentworth (Rongotca), Nicholson (Palmerston North), Neale (Wellington) and McDonnell (Ashhurst); “The Pipe Band,” proposed by Mr. T. Spelman and replied to by Mr. Pilcher; “Legion of Frontiersmen,” proposed by Mr. D. Spelman and replied to by Mr. D. Kenny; “The Artists,” proposed by Mr. Murphy aud replied to by Mr. Anderson: “Ladies,” proposed by Mr. Barriman, and “The President,” proposed by Mr. Jackson. The remainder of the evening was spent in community singing and talking of old times. Items were contributed by the Cliff Anderson Band, Mr. C. M. Stanley (“Requiem” and songs), Mr. D. Ross (humour), Mr. R. Cammell (songs), C. Pennell (saxophone solo).
