The Mayoral Election
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Some weeks ago the Atayor anu Councillors issued over their signatures a message which contained the following statement: “To listen to God and to obey Him is the highest form of national service for everybody everywhere.” In view of the amount of backbiting which has taken place iu this. Alayornl campaign, is the Alayor prepared to say that he places any value on the message which ho sponsored? I ain, etc., “SINCERITY.”
