R.A.F. Over Berlin Again
Main Attack on German Harbours SLIGHT ENEMY ACTIVITY OVER BRITAIN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 1.10 am. LONDON, May 1. The Air Ministry says: “Enemy air activity last night was slight. A few single aircraft crossed the northeast coast and dropped bombs. There was no damage and no casualties.” The German News Agency, in a communique, says forces of the R.A.F. were over Germany last night. Some aircraft reached the capital but none succeeded in penetrating the town area. A few bombs fell on the outskirts but there was no damage. The main attack was directed on the north-west coastal area. Explosives and incendiaries were dropped in several places, but the damage was confined to houses. The casualties included some killed.
