Feilding’s Rainfall

Fewer April showers were recorded by Mr. F. Mason, of Feilding, and the rainfall for the month measured 2.09 inches, compared with the average for April of 2.68 inches. Rain fell on ten days with tho heaviest measuring but, .8 inches and this was recorded on April 13. For the four months of the current year the rainfall measures 12.63 inches, while over the same period last year 14.21 inches was recorded. A cold snap set in early iu the mouth and two sharp frosts were recorded. Towards the end of tho month mild weather was experienced. AVind of gale force swept over the town early in the month.
