Soviet Bars Passage Of War Materials

LONDON, April 29. It wts announced in Moscow to-night that a decree had been issued prohibiting the passage of war materials through tho Hoviet Union. Tho Vice-Commissar of Trade said that the decree covered munitions, aircraft parts, accessories, machine-tools, and explosives. Transit for other goods would be allowed under existing trade agreements. The Red Star, organ of the Russian Army, said to-night that, despite the position in Greece, tho British situation in the Mediterranean remained stable.
