Turks Hold Fast To British Alliance
WILL NOT RENOUNCE IT LONDON, April 29. M. Sadek, a member of the Turkish Parliament who is believed to be close to tho Foreign Office, writing in the Istanbul newspaper Ikdam, says: “Nothing would make tho Turks renounce I their alliance with Britain. We are tied to the alliance not only by reasons of honour but by our national interest. 11 the Germans attack Turkey they will learn that every Turk will fight joyfully in defence of his country."
