Magistrate’s Court
Mr. H. r. La-wry, S.M., presided over a sitting of tho Magistrate’s Court at Woodville yesterday.
George Henry Geidard, of Feildiug, was charged that, on March 9, he drove a vehicle on the main Woouvilie-Ash-hurst highway without duo care and attention. He was further charged with having no current warrant of fitness for the vehicle. The accused, who did not appear, pleaded guilty. Following eviuenco given by Constable Skinner, the Magistrate imposed a lino of £2 and cogflk on the lirst charge, and 3 Os an Joists on the second. Frank who did not appear, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving a vehicle without a warrant of fitness. He was fined 10s and 10s costs.
