Large Trout Landed What is considered to be the largest trout caught in the Taupo district for the past ten years was landed at tho mouth of the Waiahanui Biver last week by Mr. J. Rodgers, of Auckland, when lie caught a beautiful specimen weighing 1641 b. It was a female fish, in the pink of condition. It. put up a great fight, and took 30 minutes to land.
