Meat Negotiations
N.Z. WILL GET SAME AS AUSTRALIA Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 23. “I can only repeat what has already been said by Mr. *Nash, that anything Australia gets in connection with meat exports, New Zealand will also get,” stated the Minister of Marketing, Hon J. G. Barclay, when asked to comment on the reports that Australia had completed negotiations with the British Government for the purchase of additional quantities of meat. The Minister said that he was not in s position to make any comment in thy meantime. He had not received any information regarding the reported Australian agreement.
