Animals May be Killed in Eire
DE VALERA WARNS FARMERS Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, April 26. Mr. de Valera, in a speech, said: “If there is a shortage of food in Eire animals mil have to go, and we will have to be ruthless about it.” He warned that strong action will be taken against farmers deliberately flouting the law under which they are required to till one-fifth of their arable land.
