Effort to Bribe Turks Fails
(Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 26. The Daily Herald’s Istanbul correspondent says it is reliably reported that Turkey has refused Germany’s Grecian Thrace offer. An eariler message said that foreign diplomatic circles in London report that Germany is demanding from Turkey complete military control of the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles in return for a slice of Grecian Thrace.
