N.Z.E.F. Boxing Championships in Suva
Received Sunday, 11.20 p.m. SUVA, April 27. The finals of the N.Z.E.F. boxing championships in Fiji resulted:— Heavyweight: G. Allau. No other contender. Light-heavy: G. Allan beat A. W. Fell. A good, oven fight. Atiddleweight: T. Murphy beat T. Estall. An extra round was necessary. Estall, lighting his second light of the evening and giving away a stone, put up a great battle. Welterweight: T. Estall beat J. AlcKav. A fine, even battle, an extra round being necessary. Lightweight: H. Mclvor beat H. Broadfoot by default. Featherweight: T. T. Wilde beat L. Baker by a k.o. in the first round.
