A Proud Claim
The oldest women’s organisation in the Dominion, the Onehunga Ladies’ Benevolent 'Society, founded as one of the consequences of the Maori War in 1863, held its 78th consecutive annual meeting on Monday night. The Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. A. Garside, presided.
