Miss Nan Haybittle, of Auckland, is visiting her sister, Mrs. K. M. Little, of Feilding. Mr. 0. Hamish Wilson, of Burleigh," Bulls, received cable advice on Friday of the safe arrival in England of his daughter, Miss Cynthia Wilson, who has gone Horae to take up war work. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Gardner, of Tauranga, accompanied by their two daughters and Mrs. Davey, of Te Puke, are visitors to Palmerston North and are the guests of Mrs. Gardner, Linton Street. Miss Judy Kain, Women’s Auxiliary Air Force, sister of the late FlyingOfficer E. J. ("Cobber") Kain (Wellington), is stationed in Kent. She has just returned from a week’s course of instruction in London. Miss Kain is finding her work interesting and she intends to remain in Britain for the duration of the war.
