FEILDING’S SMALL FIRE LOSS

Another Excellent Record Feilding enjoyed another excellent lire loss record for the year just closed, the loss amounting to the modest sum of £5. According to the annual report of the brigade superintendent (Mr. O. C. Sporle), the brigade received nine calls during the 3-ear and the total value of the property involved was £4550 which was covered by insurance to the amount of £2200. The strength of the Feilding brigade is 22 firemen and two officers while 12 citizens, under tho E.P. Scheme, have been training with the brigade. Thirtylive musters were held during the year and the attendance was throughout very satisfactory. The plant, comprising a Dennis engine and pump and a hose carrier, as well as all accessories, was reported to be in good order. Two vnembors of the brigade, Firemen Lamout and Crozier, were on active service while Fireman Sagar was on home service duty with the army. A good water pressure had been maintained at all tests taken.
