1500 German Pilots for Italy
rcm ACTION AGAINST ARMY OF NILE Received Sunday, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 4. The DaUy Mali’s special correspondent on the Italian frontier reports that Germany is sending 1600 pilots and 10,000 ground staff men to Italy. Italian newspapers are rejoicing at the prospect of German planes going Into action against the Army of the nile. The Bologna newspaper Avvenire d Italia says the Germans are beginning operations in a few days. The Leghorn newspaper Telegraffe gloats: "Imagine the Britiah surprise when after twenty days of floundering between Capuzso and Bardia they are bombed by hundreds pt new planes."
