America’s Help For Other Countries
Received Wednesday, 9.30 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 31. The Secretary of the Treasury (Mr. Henry Morgenthau) indicated that President Roosevelt's loan and lease plan for Britain may be extended to any country fighting aggression, such ns Greece or China, and production of facilities allowed. He pointed out that the Chinese had been discussing with the Treasury the possibility of shipments of planes for Chinn, but Mr. Morgenthau remarked; “There arc just not enough to go round.”
