RELAY PRAYER MOVEMENT Prayers for peace, guidance and protection are being offered continuously by people throughout New Zealand as the result of the development of a 24-hour relay prayer movement. Rallies have been held in the principal cities of the Dominion and thousands have now contributed their time of one half hour daily to the movement. Dr. Herbert Sutcliffe who is the convener of the movement which was inaugurated in Auckland, is at present in Palmerston North and will speak at the meeting on Sunday night, when it is hoped that the people of Palmerston North will give their support in service to their country in this special manner. "Passive prayer is not sufficient; it must be active." ‘‘Prayer was the putting of all that was finest into human relationship," said Dr. Sutcliffe. The movement is non. sectarian snd non-political.
