Christmas Sale of Work
The Girls’ Auxiliary branch of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union have been enthusiastically working for some time past in preparation for their annual sale of work in aid of mission funds, which is to be held in St. Andrew’s Hall on Saturday afternoon and evening. The stalls will comprise a fine assort- . ment of needlework, fruit, produce, cakes, etc. Cooking competitions will be held both for adults and children. At 7.30 p.m. a one-act play entitled ‘‘Matrimonial Advertisement” will be staged. Admission will be free. Tea will be available both morning and ’evening. It is confidently anticipated that the G.A. girl 3 will receive the wholehearted support of all who are interested in the great work of missions.
