Hallowe’en Night

LITTLE THEATRE FUNCTION The Palmerston North Little Tkoatre last night took advantage of tlio Hallowe’en to stage a most successful social gathering in the Little Theatre. The programme till supper time was of a mystic touch with witches and ghosts operating in the semi-darkipess of dimmed coloured lights. The decorations were all of a spooky nature and much trouble had been gone to to give realism. Before the hall was reached everyone had to ruu the gauntlet of spiders hanging from the coiling, and other j creepy things, finally making their debut to the theatre down a slide. It was 'good fun and this atmosphere was mainitained by novelty items such as the headless man and witch dances under spotlights. After supper dancing was the order to music provided by a professional orchestra.
