Feilding Harriers’ Club
FINAL RACE THIS WEEK The Feilding Harrier’s Club will conclude their season on Saturday, when the senior championships and a junior race over one lap of the racecourse will be run. Runnei'3 have performed well this season, winning the North Island West Coast B grade championship (R. Lumber ton) and tho Wangaeliu road race (E. Batten), while L. Barrett and H. Moss ran excellent races iu tho latter and Bulls-Marton race. Handicaps for the junior race are: G. Whittaker scr., J. Duncan SUsec., L. Moore lmin., M. Huddleston lmin. 15sec., R. Evans 2min. Other starters will be handicapped on the mark. The following will contest the senior championship: R. Lamberton, E. Batten, L. Barrett, H. Moss and J. Haycock, and it is expected that an exciting contest among these runners will be witnessed for the championship honour. All runners are requested to be present at this final race of tho season and are to meet at the gymnasium at 2 p.m. sharp.
