“A Crafty Criminal”
NEW ZEALANDER GAOLED IN SYDNEY United Press Association—Bv Electrle Telegraph—Copyright. Received Thursday, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 8. A sentence of two years’ imprisonment was imposed on a New Zealander, Jendesv Arthur Garner, aged 29, a panelbeater, for having obtained property by false pretences and being in possession of property stolen in New Zealand. Tho latter included a National Bank of New Zealand draft valued at £75. Detective Clothier described Garner as a crafty criminal.
