BRITAIN TO BUY ENTIRE EGYPTIAN COTTON CROP
(Received 8, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 7. The Cairo correspondent of the British United Press states that Britain’s decision to purchase the entire Egyptian cotton crop is welcomed as averting “a terrible economic crisis.” The purchase price is reported to be between £ 25-million and £ 30-million.
