Wellington College

Proud of its motto, “Lumen accipe et imperii,” interpreted as “Receive the light and hand it on,” Wellington College is also proud of its early foundation in 1853 by Sir George Grey, of its fine record in scholarships, games, athletics and of the achievements of so many of its old boys in after life.
