DEATH SENTENCE PASSED ON SIAMESE PLOTTERS

(Received 25, 10.45 a.m.) SINGAPORE, Nov. 24. A special court at Bangkok (Siam) sentenced to death 21 persons convicted of insurrection by trying to overthrow the Government. Three of these 21 were reprieved and sentenced to life imprisonment. Twenty-two others were given life sentences, and seven were acquitted. Those reprieved include the son of King Chulalongkorn and also the commander of Siam’s expeditionary force in Europe in the Great War. Two sons of this commander are among those sentenced to death.
