Woman Killed in Car Smash

ANOTHER CRITICALLY INJURED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 25. When a small motor-car struck a tramway pole on the footpath in Jcrvois Road, Ponsonby, on .Saturday night, Mrs. Amy Anastasia Marnell, aged 54, a passenger in the front seat, suffered injuries from -which she later died. The driver, Donald Horscfield Oppcrman, aged 42, a married man, suffered concussion, a fractured nose and lacerations. His condition is not serious. The two other passengers were injured, one critically.

Mrs. Margaret J. .Sim, aged 68, suffered severe head injuries and a fractured leg. Her condition is serious. Mrs. A. Downing, aged 58, suffered shock and was discharged alter treatment at the hospital. Tho car was extensively damaged.
