Trying it on the Dog !
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Alixed metaphor: So the cat is out of the bag! They are trying it on the dog! I refer to those hop, stei) and jump letter boxes—the latest imposition on a long-suffering people. Now we are to be boxed. Feilding is the place of the experiment, per circular. Well, Feilding has made its protest. Vox populi! I believe Feilding is the Voice of the People as expressed in * ‘ The Times” on the subject of the Nasty letter box. We don’t require such restriction. It is an unnecessary expense. It is inconvenient and we d® not want fewer postmen. We want service from a rich-by added-tax Department. Call off that box!
