“Snow White” and Divertissements
A visitor to the studio of the Broadway School of Dancing recently would have wondered whether he had accidentally strayed into iairyland, for there were the most exquisite butterfly wings displayed everywhere in all the tenderest rainbow tints. They were, however, the work of Miss Gwen Gibbs and her clever assistants and, with spangled tights, will be worn in the spectacular number, “Les Papillons," to be presented with “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Divertissements" at the Opera House to-morrow afternoon and evening. The programme will offer an infinite variety of delightful numbers having in common a high standard of dancing technique and attractive presentation. Items range from operatic and classical solos and ballets to tap and character dances and the modern musical comedy and expressionist types so popular on the American stage at present.
