Japanese Wheat Shortage
WILL CEASE TO COMPETE ON CHINA MARKET Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 14. The United States Trade Commissioner at Tokio reports that a wheat shortage has resulted in the Government restricting wheat and flour exports to yen bloc areas. If the control is effective Japanese flour will cease to compete with Australian and American in North China and Manchukuo.
