Pahiatua Borough Council Vacancy
MR. J. W. STTJRTON ELECTED UNOPPOSED Nominations closed at midday yesterday to fill the vacancy of a councillor on the Pahiatua Borough Council, caused by tho death of Air. J. E. Murphy. Mr. L. D. Lovelock, Returning Officer, advises that as there were no other nominations, Air. J. W. Sturton, of Wakeman Street, has been elected unopposed.
