From Our Own Correspondent. The fortnightly meeting of the Odd Fellows’ Lodge was held on Tuesday night with Bro. S. Lewis, N.G., presiding. A member of the Loyal Apiti Lodge was welcomed. A ritual competition has been arranged with the Loyal Marton Lodge, to take place in Marton on Wednesday, August 2. A bring and buy stall will be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall on Thursday, July 27, at 2 o’clock, in order to raise funds for the Presbyterian Church. There will fte no admission fee, hut a small charge will be made for refreshments. Donations of plants, vegetables, etc., will be welcomed.
