KEEN DEMAND AT LONDON WOOL SALES

LONDON, July 20. At the wool sales 8206 bales were offered, including 5411 New Zealand, am* 6591 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection, consisting chiefly of New Zealand crossbreds.
The demand was keen for suitable wools, the home trade being the main operators. Values generally were well maintained. Slipes and inferior grades were frequently withdrawn owing tc firm limits. New Zealand greasy half bred, Chaigmore Downs, realised Hid to Hid.
