N.Z. PROFESSIONAL LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE The Manawatu Boxing Association is to bo congratulated on securing this much sought-after title fight for Pal raerston North. Both Oamaru and Marlborough Associations made strong representations to havo this fight but Manawatu's application was in first and so tho great event takes place in the Opera House, Palmerston North, on Saturday next, July 29, together with a special professional welterweight contest which will be of great interest to local patrons. Joe Collins has been matched to meet Tui Loveridgc of Tara naki and there will also be three popular amateur bouts. With two professional fights iu oho evening, the Opera House will bo packed, and patrons arc advised to reserve early', the box plan opens at Collinson and Cunninghamc’s on Tuesday' next, July' 25.
