Polish Ambassador’s Return
CHAMBERLAIN T* REASSURANCE United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, July 9. Tho Daily Telegraph says the Polish Ambassador is returning from Warsaw by air to-day to deliver an important message to Lord Halifax the nature of which will govern Mr. Chamberlain's decision whether or not to state his Danzig policy forthwith. It is expected the Prime Minister will reassure Poland of assistance if her integrity is threatened. A Warsaw message says the Government has voted £2,200,000 for additional expenditure on defence. A Berlin message says Herr Hitler will speak on Thursday at Munich's day of German art. It is not expected he will refer to foreign affairs.
