Cribbage Tiie last games of the section play took place last week, when at Cheltenham the Cheltenham A team was defeated by Waituna by 27 gams to 23 and at Halcombe the Cheltenham B team obtained a draw. Mr. \\. Malone won the trophy for the member gaining the most games over the season. The winner for the ii team is still undecided. The 13 team proved the winner of the section play and to-night will meet the Kimbolton team at Cheltenham in the sectional play off. No spectators will be allowed to be present. At a meeting of the associations all arrangements were made for the annual smoke concert at Cheltenham, when it is expected that about 200 will be present. School Committee The school committee met on Thursday evening, when it was decided to go on with the installation of a tubular system of heating in the school. The Wanganui Education Hoard is subsidising the cost by £26. It was also decided that the committee would prepare the ground for the school plots at an early date and that the entry fee for both the plot and calf competition be met by Hie committee.
