Women’s Hockey
WINS FOR BROADWAY GOLD AND H.S.O.G. Tho women’s hockey competition was continued at Takaro Park on Saturday, Broadway Gold, the leading team, having an easy victory over Broadway Blue, and High School Old Girls defeating St. Paul’s. In tho Broadway Gold v. Broadway Biuo match scorers for the winning team were Miss K. Scales (2) and Miss M. McQueen (2), while Miss G. Smith netted for Broadway Blue. In the H.S.O.G. v. St. Paul’s match the game was more even than the score, 6—3, indicated. H.S.O.G. established a lead of three goals at one stage of tho game, but St. Paul’s rallied and were unlucky not to equalise when a hard shot at tho net missed. H.S.O.G. played better position play and increased tho lead again. Scorers for H.S.O.G. were Miss Kearns (3), Miss Gloyn (2), and Miss Fitzgerald; for St. Paul’s, Miss Lankshcar (2) and Miss Cooksley.
