Boss, of lc l’nke said that the better quality had treated an increased demand for pig products on the English market. Lnfortunately there was not such a large quantity a'vailable for export. Pig production at present rose and fell with dairv production and this would continue until cheap grain was available. Under the new constitution three members of the club retired this year. Thev were Messrs. G. Jamieson, of the South Auckland ward, W. P. Bickers, of the Wellington North ward, and James Simpson, of the South lsluud ward. Mr. A. J. Baynes had retired as representative of the Auckland ward and his place had been filled by the appointment of Mr. K. D. Kerr. Mr. James Simpson was re-clcctcd unopposed as the South Island representative, while Mr. G. Jamieson was returned on the election for the South Auckland ward. In the Wellington North ward equal votes were secured by Mr. Bickers and Mr. H. T. Thurston, Mr. Thornton securing the scat by lot. At a' subsequent melting of the newly-appointed council Mr. G. S. Boss was reappointed president, while Air. G. M. Whiteloek, of Palmerston North, and Mr. D. G. Morrison, of Whangare were elected vice-presidents. The executive elected comprised Mr. H. I--West, of Hawke‘s Bay, Mr. H. E. Thurston, of Wellington North, and Air. G. AI. Whiteloek. Mr. Whiteloek was appointed the association’s representative on the Wellington District Pig Council, and Vi r . K. D. Kerr on the Auckland District Council. Air. L. C.
