More Rain About WELLINGTON, June 30. The depression in the north is filling up but a complex depression is advancing across the South Tasman Sea and is already affecting the extreme southwest of the South Island. Winds: Variable at first with light to moderate north-easterly predominating; north-westerly, however, in the far south and north-westeriies gradually extending northwards; force moderate generally but becoming strong in exposed positions. Seas (New Zealand waters): Slight to moderate but rising on the West Coast. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate northerly to north-westerly winds later freshening and Decoming more westerly; seas moderate to rather rough. Weather: Some light scattered rain in North Auckland but otherwise weather fair to cloudy at first; unsettled with rain, however, in South Westland and rain extending to most western districts and also to Otago and Southland.
