Air. and Mrs. E. Sliand, Fitzhevbert Avenue, have returned home after a month’s visit to Dunedin.

Airs. Blackburnc, wife of Rev. 11. G. Blackburne, who was for many years vicar of All Saints’ Church, has been seriously ill in St. Luke’s Hospital, London, but is now reported to bo well on the road to recovery.

Miss Dorothy Davies, who will be solo pianist at tho second concert of the Manawatu branch of tho British Alusic Society to-night, is the guest of her brother, Air. J. L. Davies, and Airs. Davies, Kainforth Street, during her visit to tho city.
